Cognitive, emotional, and behavioral health.

Cognitive health has to do with your ability to learn, retain knowledge and think critically. Behavioral health refers to how you treat others, how you make decisions, and how that affects you negatively or positively. While emotional health is focused on how you feel and how you control your thoughts.

We all have our strengths and our weaknesses. If you work on only one of these mental health categories it will improve the other two naturally. If you practice cognition you will feel accomplished, distracted and you will have made a real improvement in your life. You can reduce depression by simply reading.

If you practice emotional health you will affect your behavior and helps you feel better in general. Simply meditating or thinking happy thoughts is all that may be needed.

If you practice behavioral health, the way you treat others and act in general can have a very real effect on your emotions. If you smile when you’re not “feeling happy” you will eventually begin to feel happy- fake it till you make it! (a reality)
